SANTIAGO & CENTRAL VALLEY

The Central valley offers a large variety of tourist attractions. Santiago, the capital city and the entrance gate to Chile, framed by the majestic Andes Mountains. To the west, at only one hour from Santiago, is the Pacific coast with its traditional port Valparaiso and its very picturesque constructions suspended from the hills with an impressive layout of streets and ailes. Towards east, at only one hour from the capital, the Andes provide the best ski centers for the practice of white sports. Going south, discover the different wine routes from the Valley of Casablanca until Curicó Valley,to finish with Easter Island (Rapa Nui), located at 3.760 km (2,336 mi) from the Chilean coast, in the inmmensity of the Pacific Ocean.
