PUERTO NATALES & TORRES DEL PAINE

Located on the Edge of Ultima Esperanza sound, close to Riesco mountain range, and 247 km (154 mi) west of Punta Arenas. It was founded in 1911 and is the entrance for those who want to visit Torres del Paine, the Milodon Cave or the Glaciers of the Patagonian Ice Fields. In this natural environment, Torres del Paine stands out, a group of 3 granite monolits that emerge vertically, composing a unique and imposing landscape where glaciers and beautiful lakes are also present. Along the road is very common the encounter with its native fauna such as pumas, ñandues, guanacos, foxes and condors.Torres del Paine National Park is one of the largest in the country, and one of the most important in Patagonia. In 1978 it was declared Biosfera Reserve by the UNESCO.
